EMN Finland National Conference 2020
Pathways to Citizenship in Finland and other EU Member States
The conference is organized as a hybrid event with the Finnish speakers, panelists and selected national experts and stakeholders being present in Helsinki (COVID-19 permitting), and the rest of the speakers and the audience participating online.
The conference is divided into two sessions, with the first session held in English making it ideal for the EMN NCPs, their national network members and other international stakeholders to participate.
The first session includes presentations of the EMN Study on Pathways to Citizenship (synthesis report and the Finnish national report)
as well presentations by Dr. Thomas Huddleston from the Migration Policy Group and Ms. Emma Quinn from EMN Ireland/Economic and Social Research Institute on recent research on integration and naturalization.
The second session is a panel discussion held in Finnish and will be aimed at the national audience. Interpretation is not available at the event.
